Formulate Standards for SMS in Telugu - Hon'ble Minister Sri Ponnala Lakshmaiah's appeal to Telecom Operators.
Hyderabad, Newstoday: Sri Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Hon'ble Minister for IT, Government of Andhra Pradesh said that efforts are being made for expanding the use of Telugu Language in the Information and Communication system. He added that a unicode script is being prepared for Telugu for Internet. He appealed to the Telecom operators to formulate standards for SMS in Telugu Language. He spoke at the Fifth GISI Conference held in Hyderabad in association with Rajiv Gandhi university of Knowledge technologies on Monday (20.06.011). Global standards shall also be formulated for information and communication technology as is done for every item and its use he added. He appealed to GISFI to conduct all its future conferences in Hyderabad. Prof. Ramji Prasad, Founder Chairman, GISFI, Prof.T.R.Dua, Vice Chairman, GISFI and Prof.R.V.Rajkumar, Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of knowledge Technologies Participated in the conference.

Practice Global Standards in ITC:
Hyderabad, June 20 Prabhata Vaarth: Hon'ble Minister Sri Ponnala Lakshmaiah suggested that practicing global standards in information and communication system will facilitate the user and hence, this aspect shall be given full focus. The fifth Conference of GISFI (Global ITC Standardization forum for India) was held in association with Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technology in Hyderabad on Monday (20.06.2011). Ho'ble Minister Sri Ponnaala Participated as the chief guest in this function and addressed the gathering. He said that the users will not face difficulties if standards are practiced in the usage. Prof. Rajakumar, Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of knowledge Technologies, Prof. Ramji Prasad, Founder Chairman, GISFI and Prof. Dua, the Vice Chairman participated and spoke in the Function.

Formulated global Standards for ITC - SMS system shall come to regional languages-Honble Ministed Sri Ponnaala in GISFI Conference.
Hyderabad (Andhra Prabha Pratinidhi): Sri Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Hon'ble minister for IT and Endowments has said that there would be standards for all objects and their use and similarly for information technology system also. Maintenance of standards in the it system facilitates the user and hence, this is to be focused. In association with Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies the Global ICT Standardization Forum for India (GISFI) held a conference on Monday at Hyderabad. In this three day conference representatives from cell phone companies like Nokia, Erikson, Samsung, TCS etc. from countries like Singapore, China, Japan, Denmark, apart from India, participated. Sri Ponnala lakshmaiah spoke in the conference participating as the chief guest. The use of ATM and Credit Cards has enormously grown all over the world because they are of the same standard. Similarly the railway track is fore feet and 8.5 inches all over the world. Gisfi also making efforts for formulating global standards. The government of AP has been constituted for this purpose. He appealed for developing methods for using SMS in Telugu. Prof. R.V.Raja Kumar, Vice chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies said that the university has been providing education with high standards to not only urban students but also rural students. Prof. Ramji Prasad, Chairman and Sri T.R.Dua, Vice Chairman of GISFI also spoke.
